How To Find Your Little Guy's Perfect Fit

We hear it all the time from parents about how fast kids grow within the blink of an eye. It seems that as soon as boys are old enough to start walking and talking, the shopping for new clothes, shoes, and suits is never ending.

So, with your little one consistently growing and evolving, we understand that keeping up with sizing and trends can be a bit of a confusion bomb. When it comes to purchasing formal wear for the little guy, the whole process can be a bit daunting. But, just because your little guy is growing like a weed, doesn’t mean that searching for the perfect fit for the perfect tuxedo has to be a poor experience.

Little Tuxedos takes pride in the Kid’s Tuxedo Packages that we offer because we know and understand that looking and feeling good in the clothes worn from a young age really helps kids to come into their own. Understanding how to measure or know the size that is the right choice for your specific child is just like adults. Everyone is different. They all have different needs, tastes, styles, inputs, sizes, shapes, etc.

Having that in mind, we thought it was best that because every young man is different from needs and wants, offering something for the typical growing boy will help to really make them feel special.

Below is a five-step easy to understand guide on
how to measure a boy’s tuxedo suit:

1. Sleeve
Measure from the shoulder seam at the top of the sleeve to the bottom of the sleeve.
2. Chest
Measure underneath the arms around the body at the thickest part of the chest. Measure pants that fit your child well.
3. Waist
Measure around the natural waistline which is about 2 inches (5 cm) above the navel (belly button). An elastic waist can stretch another 1 - 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm).
4. Outseam
Measure from the waist to the floor.
5. Inseam
Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the pants leg.

With numerous options in colors with a variety of sizes offered (from infant to boys 20), we can guarantee that the more growth your child experiences through the years, his Little Tuxedo will always be the perfect fit.
